S/V Miramar: For Sale

S/V Miramar is a 1977 Tayana 37', Mark I. She's a very classic double ender, designed and rigged to cross oceans.

History
We bought her as S/V Tillicum in January of 2009, in St Petersburg, Florida. We spent a few months in Key West learning to sail, then brought her up and down the East Coast a couple of times before heading South into the Caribbean.

She's been an amazing home and we've loved all our adventures aboard. She has been very good to us, forgiving and sturdy. We got rid of a lot of clutter on the boat when we moved off, but she’s still well stocked with sailing books and other live aboard essentials.

Read more about our adventures in our old sailing blog.

Location
Miramar is currently on the hard in Grenada, outside of the hurricane zone. We had a custom built canvas built to protect her from the elements when we pulled her out a little over a year ago.

Price
We're asking $39,000 $29,000, but will consider any serious offer.

Why we're selling
We bought a property in Tuscany, and had a baby. We're enjoying our new life on Italian soil, for now, and don't want to see our boat go to waste.
